ARTWORK HANDLING & CARE

FAQ DIRECTORY

Q: How can I hang the artwork?

A: The artwork will include the appropriate hanging equipment. Picture hangers and/or wall anchors are recommended but are not included with your purchase as we are not aware of how and where you wish to mount your photograph.  Many variations for mounting and hanging are possible, some of which are listed on this STORE page. Inquire directly for additional desired options not listed by clicking here.

Q: How can I clean the artwork?

A: Printed editions should be cleaned only whenever it is absolutely necessary and should be performed with extreme caution. If necessary, first dust off the image using a soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth. Applying very little pleasure, wipe clean with a water-dampened cloth by blotting slowly. Any usage of dry and or gritty materials against the surface of the image may cause surface scratches to which Jameson Schultz Photography is not responsible for. Never use any cleaners such as window sprays, chemical cleaning compounds, or solvents, which will lead to permanent damage of the work.

Q: How can I illuminate the artwork?

A: Image display and lighting can produce amazing results when done properly. Typically halogen bulbs emitting a color temperature of approximately 3000 Kelvin should be used to display the colors properly, and promote longevity of the print. However a variety of lighting options exist. We are happy to provide recommendations or provide pricing on image lighting packages.
